We begin by checking the wall for plumb and flat, since a slight bow shows up through the tile. Then we dry-lay the pattern so cuts land in the right places, centered behind the cooktop and balanced at corners. Mosaic accents, like those on our mosaic tile page, get the same planning.
Shower walls get a full waterproofing system behind the tile, with niches framed and sealed before any tile goes up. Our hard water leaves mineral film on grout, so we talk through grout choice and sealing with you before we begin. When the job is done we clean up and haul away debris. We bring grout samples to your estimate so you can compare them in your own light. Many customers go tone-on-tone, and some choose a contrast color for subway tile. Epoxy grout is available in showers.
