We have been a family-owned flooring company since 1988, and our mobile design showroom means you do not have to guess how a board will look from a small sample in a store. We drive the samples to your door, lay them on your actual floor, and let you judge them in the light that comes through your own windows.
From a 1970s ranch in Broomfield with tired carpet over original oak, to a newer Anthem or Interlocken home that wants wide-plank engineered wood, we handle the whole job: moving furniture, pulling up the old floor, prepping the subfloor, installing, trimming, and cleaning up. Solid vs. engineered - how to choose in Colorado
Both are real wood. The difference is how the board is built, and along the Front Range that difference matters more than most people expect. Winter air indoors can drop well below 20 percent humidity, and solid boards respond by shrinking and showing hairline gaps until summer brings them back.

Maple gives a cleaner, quieter grain, hickory brings more character and hardness, and walnut suits rooms where you want something richer. Most whole-floor installs take two to four days, depending on square footage and whether we are also removing carpet or old wood. Site-finished floors add time for sanding and coating, and we lay out the schedule at your estimate.
Engineered hardwood is the right pick for finished basements on concrete slabs and works well in kitchens. We test the slab for moisture first. We do not recommend solid wood below grade. If you want something fully waterproof downstairs, luxury vinyl plank is worth a look too.
In winter, indoor humidity can fall under 20 percent, so boards may shrink slightly and show small seasonal gaps, then close up again in summer. A humidifier and sensible engineered choices for tricky rooms keep movement modest. We explain what to expect before you decide.
