Porcelain is unforgiving of an uneven floor, especially in large planks and big squares. We check flatness, correct dips, and use leveling clips so edges line up. Where a slab may move with the clay soil under it, we add a crack-isolation layer to protect the tile.
The crew takes care of everything: moving furniture, taking out the old floor, prepping, setting, grouting, and cleaning up. We also return within ten days to confirm the floor is doing its job. Porcelain Tile - frequently asked questions
For floors, usually yes. Porcelain is denser and tougher, so it is a better fit for busy or wet rooms. Ceramic still works well on walls and in lighter-use bathrooms.
Today's wood-look planks are convincing, especially wider planks with varied texture. If you want the real thing, ask about engineered hardwood and compare both side by side at your estimate.
The tile itself is hard, but it can crack if the floor underneath moves. That is why we prepare the base carefully and use a crack-isolation membrane when a slab or plywood floor calls for one.
It depends on the finish. We recommend matte or textured tile for bathrooms and entries and keep polished finishes for dry rooms.
